Well, I’ve decided to finally take my trip around the world starting in November. I’ll be starting in Fiji then work my way over to Australia and then up to South East Asia then the Middle East and then through Europe. South America will be my last frontier to conquer. If anyone has any travel tips or must see places that I must see or do I’d love to hear what you have to say. I don’t want to miss anything on this trip… Please comment and let me know what were the highlights of your trip, food, architecture, drinks, exc….
Sorry, I haven’t had any posts… I assume this will continue during my finals. I need to pay more attention to school then I’ll be back up and blogging.
This just looks amazing. I really want to check this out. The annual red crab mass migration (around 100 million animals) to the sea to spawn has been called one of the wonders of the natural world[21] and takes place each year around November; after the start of the wet season and in synchronisation with the cycle of the moon.
I have a friend Marcus that told me all about these hot springs. I often over look Canada when I set out to go on an adventure but this has changed my mind. I live in Utah and we have a few good hot springs but nothing like this. I have also read that there are hot spring tours you can take. Where are some other good hot springs that you know of?
Winner for this contest is Leah Myer also the winner of the 50 dollars! Congrats!- She dosen’t have a blog to site. Here is her discription.
This picture is a statue of Nicholas Copernicus taken in Torun, Poland– birthplace and home of the famous astronomer. Copernicus (or Mikolaja Kopernika) is famous for dispelling the myth that the earth was not the center of the universe; instead, it traveled around the sun. Below his statue it reads in Latin “NICOLAUS COPERNICUS THORUNESIS TERRAE MOTOR SOLIS CAELIOUE STATOR” roughly translating to “Nicholas Copernicus who moved the earth and stopped the sun”. Torun is over 775 years old and the statue is found in the heart of downtown where walking is the only means of transportation and ancient walls still guard it. Torun, Poland is a beautiful yet less-traveled place to visit in eastern Europe.
I’m visiting a friend in San Diego this week and I’m loving it here. We surfed Point Loma today and there were some nice breaks not too far off the shore. I’m still really new to surfing because I grew up in Salt Lake City. I’ve had a great time learning but I can rip hard on a body board… ha ha…
I am gaining new respect for waves. I got pounded hard a few times this afternoon. I had to learn the hard way that the mountains don’t care if you live or die, and today I found out that the waves don’t care if you breath or not. They’ll hold you down as long as they want. My girlfriend had a good time laughing at me from the beach. But it makes it all worth it when you paddle into that perfect wave and it curls over your head and you ride that wave all the way to the shore and paddle back out to catch that lasts wave’s big brother.
Tonight heading out to downtown San Diego to get some good Mexican food. That food is proof that God loves us.
Does anyone know any other places to surf? Please let me know. I’d love to know.
